Customization & Ordering FAQ

How do I place a custom canopy order?

Browse our products, choose your canopy size and format, select your print method (dye sublimation or silk screen where available), then purchase and create an account at checkout. After purchase, you’ll submit your artwork and we’ll send a mockup for approval.

What’s the difference between dye sublimation and silk screen printing?

Dye sublimation is best for full-color artwork, gradients, photo-like designs, and smaller quantities. Silk screen is ideal for bold logos and simple marks, and it often becomes more cost-effective at higher quantities.

Which canopy lines support which print methods?

  • Commercial Cross Peak: Dye Sublimation or Silk Screen
  • Classic Cross Truss: Dye Sublimation or Silk Screen
  • Promoteer Promotional Centerlok: Silk Screen only

Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

No — there is no MOQ. Dye sublimation is often the best value for smaller orders, while larger orders typically get a better deal with silk screen.

Are there setup fees for silk screen printing?

Yes. Silk screen printing includes a $50 setup charge per color per unique artwork location. (Example: a two-color logo on the canopy valance and the same two-color logo on a sidewall would count as two locations.)

What file types do you prefer for artwork?

We prefer vector artwork for both silk screen and dye sublimation whenever possible. Vector files produce the cleanest edges, the most accurate sizing, and the best long-term print quality.

If you’re unsure what you have, upload what you can — we’ll review it and guide you.

What happens after I submit my artwork?

Our team reviews your files and contacts you by email or phone to confirm details. We’ll then send a mockup for your approval. Production begins only after you approve the mockup.

How many mockup revisions are included?

Unlimited revisions are included. However, please note that multiple revision rounds may extend the overall timeline.

What are the estimated timelines for custom orders?

Timelines depend on order size and your proof-approval speed:

  • Small orders: Frame delivery in 2–4 business days, and custom-printed fabrics typically arrive within about 1 week of ordering (after approval).
  • Orders over 50 units: Plan for up to 10 days total for printing and delivery combined.
  • Orders over 1,000 units: These are commonly delivered via shipping container, so overseas transit timelines apply. Your specialist will confirm the best fulfillment plan and schedule.

Why do frames and fabrics ship separately?

We use split-fulfillment to speed up delivery. Frames are heavy and ship domestically from the nearest of our distributed warehouses, while custom fabrics ship express from our production facilities.

Will I receive multiple packages or tracking numbers?

Yes. You may receive separate tracking numbers and separate deliveries for the frame and the custom-printed fabric components.

Where do frames ship from?

Frames ship from the closest available location within our network of distributed warehouses to help achieve the fastest delivery window.

Where do custom fabrics ship from?

Custom fabrics are produced in our factories in China and Cambodia and shipped using express international service (or container freight for very large programs).

Can I request a rush order?

Yes — rush service is available. For the fastest handling, please call us when placing your order at 951-515-8213 so we can confirm feasibility and align production + shipping to your deadline.

Are Promoteer promotional canopies only for large orders?

Promoteer is designed for promotional programs and is commonly ordered in larger quantities (often shipped via container). That said, we can accommodate small orders as well — just note that Promoteer is silk screen only.

What if I need help choosing a print method for my quantity?

We’ll help you choose. As a rule of thumb: dye sublimation is best for small quantities and full-color artwork, while silk screen tends to win on price at higher quantities (especially for simple logos).

Can I reorder later with the same design?

Yes. Your account keeps your order history and design details organized, making reorders faster and easier. If you want to reuse the same art across multiple sizes or canopy lines, we can guide placement and print method selection.
